WHAT’S THE DEAL?!
I don’t know what the deal is, but for some odd reason I cannot meet a dependable woman. I guess it’s a good thing I’m not looking for a relationship, but living alone gets lonely and it’s good to have a woman’s companionship from time to time. Anyways, it seems like every time I turn around I run into a female that either stands me up with no phone call or simply doesn’t do what they say they will. And, if I do speak to them again, there is almost always some outrageous excuse like, say, they got their phone stolen by a pack of rabid ferrets or some crap like that and they expect you to buy it. God forbid you call them out on it, because they’ll get defensive and try to make you believe you’re the most selfish and inconsiderate bastard that ever walked the Earth.
I am truly sick of it! And it’s been happening to me as far back as high school! Why do they do it? What is the motivation here? What do they have to gain by pulling these stunts? Is it some crazed power trip they try to have over men? I mean if you don’t want to have anything to do with a guy, why not just tell him? I mean I can handle upfront outright rejection over getting led on. Gentlemen, why do we put up with this? Ladies, what’s your deal?

Ya know.. it’s really funny because we chicks feel the same way.. go read about 1/2 a page of any girly mag and you’ll see. Maybe you should try not flipping out if she (whoever that may be) doesnt do exactly what she says, once or twice.. People arent perfect ya know! Did you ever think that maybe youre goin for the wrong type of girl? You really shouldnt let this stuff get to you… You’re Twisted Todd for cryin out loud.. Things will get better!

I understand that no one is perfect (well, I AM close - LOL!!!), but is it too much to ask for someone to be dependable? And it’s not that I’m ‘flipping out’ over just a couple of instances, it’s those who do the same crap over and over until I can’t deal with it anymore. I mean, how many chances do you give someone? How’s the saying go, “Do me wrong once, shame on you. Do me wrong again, shame on me”?

I feel your frustration. I’m female but I have been through it all. Finally I give up and right when I wasn’t looking anymore and enjoying the single life the person who is my huband walked into my life. Right when you least expect it you will meet the right person…You will know…Just try to look at it like this. Fate is a strange thing. Things might not be working out right now because they just aren’t meant to be. The right person will come a long and when it does happen you will look back on all your past relationships and current frustrations and laugh and thank God everyday.

I honestly think most of the other women out there are just plain stupid. What kind of excuse is that? I’m a straight up female. I hang out around Shelby, NC, mostly on foot. That’s a maybe, cuz I’ve never met you and don’t know you. Maybe.
